Create and edit images with AI and manage your pictures
Gallery & Images
The Gallery holds the images you created with AI and the photos you uploaded to your clients. Open Gallery from the menu or the dashboard.
What is in the Gallery?

| Generated | Images you created or edited with AI, plus edits you saved with Save as New. Each edit is stacked with its original. |
| Clients | Photos from your clients' Files tabs, grouped by client. |
The filter in the top right shows newest first, oldest first or favorites only. Tap the heart on an image to make it a favorite.
The Gallery needs an internet connection.
How do I create an image?
Tap Create New Image
The button is on the Generated tab. You can also tap Image Create on the dashboard.
Choose a template or Freeform
Templates give you a prepared description with words you can tap to change.
Describe your image
Type or use the microphone. To build on a photo, add it with the image button: camera, photo library or file.
Choose the aspect ratio
For example 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 or 16:9. The default is 1:1.
Send
ellume shows Creating Image and opens the result when it is ready.
Creating an image uses AI units.
Which templates are there?

How do I edit an image with AI?
Open the image and tap the pencil icon. Describe the change, or choose a template, and send. The edited image is saved as a new version on top of the original. Use Compare to slide between before and after.
AI edits work on one image at a time and use AI units.
Can I edit an image without AI?
Yes. Open the image and tap the sliders icon:
- Crop
- Draw: draw freehand on the image
- Adjust: brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, warmth, highlights, shadows, sharpness, clarity, vibrance and vignette
When you save, choose Save as New or Overwrite Original. These edits do not use AI units.
What else can I do with an image?
Open the image and tap the ⋮ button below it:
- Add to Favorites
- Attach to Client: link the image to one or more clients. It then appears in their Creations tab.
- Share
- Save to Camera Roll
- Delete
Touching and holding an image in the Gallery grid and choosing Delete deletes its newest version without asking again.
