How do I start a conversation with the AI?

Simply open the Assistant tab and type your message in the chat input. You can ask questions, request advice, or describe what you want to create.

The AI understands natural conversation, so you can ask things like:

• "How should I price my services?"
• "Generate inspiration images for a modern haircut"
• "What trends are popular for spring?"

Can I upload an image for analysis?

Yes! Tap the image icon in the chat to upload a photo from your device. The AI can:

• Analyze hair texture and color
• Suggest styling techniques
• Provide creative recommendations
• Give technical advice about the image

This is perfect for getting a second opinion on your work or exploring new ideas.

How does voice input work?

Tap and hold the microphone icon to record your voice. The AI will:

1. Convert your speech to text
2. Process your request
3. Respond with helpful insights

Voice input works great when your hands are busy or you prefer speaking over typing.

Can the AI generate an image?

Absolutely! You can ask the AI to create an image by describing what you want:

• "Create a professional photo of a medium-length bob haircut with caramel balayage highlights, shot in natural lighting with a clean white background"
• "Design geometric nail art featuring rose gold triangular patterns on nude base, close-up studio photography, high detail"
• "Generate a delicate fine-line botanical tattoo design of eucalyptus branches wrapping around forearm, black ink on white background, minimalist style"

Generated images can be linked to specific client profiles for easy reference during consultations.

How do tokens work?

ellume uses a token system to manage AI usage:

• Monthly Allowance: 3,990 tokens per month
• Usage Tracking: See current usage in your dashboard widget
• Detailed View: Check Settings > "Monthly AI Units" for full statistics
• Visual Indicators: Progress bar shows usage with color-coded warnings

Tokens refresh monthly with your subscription.

What if my conversation gets interrupted?

No worries! ellume automatically saves your conversations and can recover interrupted chats. If you switch apps or get a phone call, just return to the Assistant tab and your conversation will continue seamlessly.

Where can I see my chat history?

All your conversations are automatically saved and can be accessed anytime in the Assistant tab. Scroll up to see previous messages or start a new conversation at any time.
